A man has life-threatening injuries after a shooting incident early Monday in Fitchburg, Massachusetts on the same street another man was fatally shot less than a week ago, police said.
Officials said the incident took place just after 2 a.m. on Blossom Street, where a deadly shooting happened on Thursday.
The man, whose identity has not been released, was taken to a Worcester-area hospital for treatment.
Thursday's shooting happened at about 9 p.m. and a second shooting was reported just more than a mile away about 25 minutes later. It remains unclear whether those incidents were connected.
Details on what led up to Monday morning's shooting were not immediately clear.
