The driver of a sedan involved in a crash with a wheelchair transport van Thursday in Whitman, Massachusetts, died from her injuries Sunday.
The Plymouth County District Attorney's Office confirms that 57-year-old Chelsea Golden of Duxbury passed away around 2 p.m. at South Shore Hospital, where she was taken after the crash. Her passenger, 62-year-old Francine Laterza of Plymouth, died on Thursday.
Three people were in the van. They were all taken to Brockton Hospital.
People in the area were shocked by the sound of the afternoon crash.
"The bang was extremely loud," said neighbor Phyllis Ashton. "I had thought something had hit the house."
