Severe Delays on Green Line Due to Issue With Overhead Wire

MBTA personnel are working to fix the problem

Severe delays are being reported on the Green Line due to a problem with an overhead wire.

The problem - involving an overhead wire near Fenway Station - has led to the suspension of Green Line service between Kenmore and Reservoir stations on the D branch.

Green Line customers are being encouraged to take the C branch trains to Cleveland Circle. From there, it's a short walk to Reservoir Station, where customers can board outbound trains on the D branch.

Limited bus service will also be offered between Kenmore and Reservoir stations.

MBTA personnel are working to fix the problem.

Moderate delays are also now being reported on the Green Line C branch due to a disabled train at Hawes Street.
