A mall in Massachusetts that was the scene of a deadly stabbing spree that culminated in the attacker being fatally shot by an off-duty officer reopened Wednesday.

The Silver City Galleria Mall in Taunton reopened at its normal time after Tuesday night's rampage that left three others injured.

Authorities say the suspect, Arthur DaRosa of Taunton, rammed a vehicle into an entrance of a Macy's department store before stabbing his victims. He was eventually shot by the off-duty officer inside a restaurnt at the mall, where he also fatally stabbed 56-year-old George Heath of New Bedford.

In a statement, officials at Macy's says they're cooperating with authorities in their investigation and that their thoughts are with the victims' families, adding that one of the injured was an employee who was taken to a hospital.

The investigation is ongoing.
