Police in Freetown, Masssachusetts, have issued a warrant for a man who allegedly stole a purse from a woman while she was attending a funeral service.
Around 12:05 p.m. Tuesday, police interviewed two people who reported a purse containing personal property and two cell phones had been stolen while they were attending a funeral service at St. John Neumann Church. They said they placed the purse near a lobby door and discovered it was stolen after the conclusion of the service.
The suspect is identified as 23-year-old Casady Roy of Fall River. He will be charged with larceny in a building and larceny over $250.
