Swastikas Found in Northeastern University Dorm

Campus police are investigating after swastikas were found in a dormitory building at Northeastern University early Sunday morning.

Northeastern President Joseph Aoun announced the discovery, which was made by a resident assistant in International Village, in an email to students.

"I condemn this hateful act of anti-Semitism in the strongest possible terms," wrote Aoun. "We must always reject this intolerant and low behavior, and reinforce the values of diversity, acceptance, and mutual understanding that undergird our community's strength."

This is not the first time during the school year that the university has dealt with anti-Semitism. Back in November, officials investigated Swastikas drawn on fliers advertising an event sponsored by the Alliance for Israel at Northeastern.
