Nearly three weeks after a teenager was found unresponsive in a driveway in Everett, Massachusetts, another teen has been charged with raping her.
Prosecutors say 18-year-old Sami Sherif of Everett sexually assaulted the teen, leaving her badly injured on Appleton Street.
A resident walked outside on March 7 to find the young woman. She was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital in "extremely critical condition."
Sherif was arrested late Friday afternoon. He posted $1,540 bail.
He will be arraigned Monday.
