Tentative Agreement Reached in Harvard Dining Workers Strike

The two sides reached a deal around 1 Tuesday morning after a full day of negotiations

Harvard University has reached a tentative agreement with its dining hall workers, ending their strike.

According to the Harvard Crimson, the two sides reached a deal around 1 Tuesday morning after a full day of negotiations.

The workers began their strike earlier this month, asking the university to increase wages and at least maintain current health benefits.

It was the first strike at Harvard in nearly 40 years.

Union membership is expected to vote on the deal Tuesday, before potentially returning to work on Thursday.
