Four people, including three emergency medical technicians, were injured early Tuesday when an ambulance was involved in a crash with another vehicle in Boston, authorities said.
Officials said the ambulance was responding to a call when the crash took place on Blue Hill Avenue at Quincy Street on the Roxbury-Dorchester line, sometime before 4:33 a.m. Two EMTs and one other person suffered minor injuries.
An SUV was seen at the site of the crash with front-end damage.
The cause of the crash remained under investigation. It remained unclear where the ambulance was headed.
