Health officials in Uxbridge, Massachusetts, plan to give an update Tuesday afternoon on the town's drinking water after E.coli was discovered in the water supply.
Officials say an order to boil water will stay in place until Wednesday at the earliest.
The contamination forced schools and several restaurants to close Monday.
Students are back in school Tuesday for their last day of the year.
Preliminary testing is coming back negative for E. coli, which is a positive sign.
A town water distribution center is being set up at the Uxbridge Department of Public Works Tuesday.
