Woman Dies After Two-Alarm Fire

A woman died after suffering critical injuries in a two-alarm blaze on East Central Street in Natick, Mass., Saturday morning, local fire officials said.

Firefighters found Carol McCarthy, 73, of Natick, unresponsive inside her home, at 211 East Central St., at about 7:30 a.m.

She was taken to Leonard Morse Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, according to the Middlesex District Attorney's office.
