Police in Waltham, Massachusetts, have cited a motorist in a collision Monday afternoon.
The call came in at 3:47 p.m. for the crash at 276 River Street, according to police. Initial investigation revealed that a motorist in a Honda Civic was traveling down the road when he struck the rear of a legally parked, unoccupied van, causing the van to elevate onto the Honda. The van was pushed about 40 feet forward.
The motorist, who sustained minor cuts to his hands and face, was given a ticket for negligent operation of a vehicle and unsafe operation of a vehicle. He is identified as a 32-year-old man from Waltham.
