Victim Dies After Car Fire

Police in Danvers, Massachusetts, confirm a male victim was transported via MedFlight after a car caught fire at a Double Tree hotel.

A 45-year-old man died after being airlifted from the scene of a car fire in Danvers, Massachusetts.

The Essex County District Attorney's Office confirms that a 45-year-old Middleton man died in the blaze.

Danvers Police responded to the Double Tree hotel on Ferncroft Road after 3 a.m. Tuesday. An officer and a security guard from the hotel got the man out of the car.

The male victim was transported to a Boston hospital via MedFlight. He later died from his injuries.

Foul play is not suspected.
