A man was taken to the hospital after an early-morning shooting in East Boston, according to officials.

The shooting happened around 1 a.m. Thursday at Condor and Brooks streets, according to Boston EMS.

The victim, a male in his mid-20s, was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital. Although Boston EMS previously said his injuries were life-threatening, Boston police later upgraded his injuries to non-life threatening.
