Bicyclist Struck by Tractor Trailer Dies; Police Locate Driver

The driver of a tractor trailer Boston Police say struck and killed a female bicyclist Friday morning has been located.

The incident happened around 8 a.m. at Massachusetts Avenue and Beacon Street.

An employee at a nearby business told necn that the tractor trailer did not stop after striking the bicyclist. She saw the woman bleeding on the ground and called police.

Police are looking for this tractor-trailer after a bicyclist was struck and killed in Boston Friday.

The victim's identity has not been disclosed, but a source within the Suffolk County D.A.'s Office confirms the office was in her 30s.

Police have found the red tractor trailer they say was involved, but they have not arrested the driver, who they say may or may not have been aware of the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
