A 75-year-old woman struck and killed a Minnesota man while attempting to parallel park her car in Plymouth, Massachusetts, on Wednesday.
Plymouth Police said the accident occurred around 11:41 a.m. when a female driver, who was attempting to park her car, struck 62-year-old Douglas Mason.
The victim had reportedly stepped off the curb and was attempting to cross Water Street and was not in a crosswalk at the time.
Mason was taken to Beth Israel Hospital by ambulance and then flown by medical helicopter to a Boston hospital. He later died of his injuries.
The incident remains under investigation.
No charges are being filed at this time.
