Prosecutors say Zemtsova was driving 42 mph in a 30 mph zone when she struck the girl, her mother and an 8-year-old cousin in Springfield in December 2014

A West Springfield, Massachusetts, woman who pleaded guilty to charges in connection with a crash that killed a 7-year-old girl in 2014 is headed to prison.

The Republican newspaper reports 49-year-old Sandra Zemtsova was sentenced last week in Springfield to four years behind bars after pleading guilty to motor vehicle homicide and operating under the influence of alcohol causing serious injury.

Prosecutors say Zemtsova was driving 42 mph in a 30 mph zone when she struck the girl, her mother and an 8-year-old cousin in Springfield in December 2014.
