Motorcycle Driver Dies After Collision With Car

Police in Manchester, New Hampshire, say a motorcycle driver is dead after a car collided with his motorcycle Wednesday night.

The crash happened around 7:30 p.m. in the area of Brown Avenue and Raymond Street.

Initial investigation shows the car, a 2000 Honda Accord, which was driven by a 22-year-old Hootsett man, was turning into a parking lot and collided with the motorcycle, which was operated by a 21-year-old Manchester man.

The occupants of the car were not injured, but the motorcycle driver suffered severe head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have not released any names.

The crash remains under investigation.
