More than 150 people across New Hampshire are facing charges after a massive drug sweep carried out by local, state and federal law enforcement this week.
State police announced on Friday that the Operation Granite Shield arrests were made in communities across the state, including Concord, Laconia, Manchester, Nashua and Salem.
A total of 151 people were arrested by 88 agencies, including some in other states. More than half of those arrested are alleged drug dealers, police told the Union Leader
In addition to the arrests, police seized more than 550 grams of heroin and fentanyl, 24 weapons, a BMW and $37,000 in cash. The drugs amounted to 18,000 doses with a street value of more than $22,000.
New Hampshire State Police Capt. John Encarnacao told the Union Leader that the sweep was so intense, it had to use the state's Emergency Operations Center to help coordinate it.
