New Hampshire Man Charged in Connection to Child's ‘Significant Injury'

A New Hampshire man is facing allegations that he injured a child.

Twenty-three-year-old Ryan Upson of Chochorua was arrested on Wednesday on a first-degre assault charge, according to state police.

On Dec. 10, Tamworth police received a call that a child was suffering from a "significant" injury at 196 Deer Hill Road. No other details were provided.

Upson of Chochorua was arrested at the same address as a result of the investigation, according to state police. He is being held on $50,000 cash bail.

Upson is expected to appear at the Carroll County Superior Court on Thursday. It is unclear if he has an attorney.
