New Hampshire Man Charged With Kidnapping, Burglary

A New Hampshire man faces charges of kidnapping and burglary after a weekend incident in Manchester. 

Officer responded on Sunday to Beech St. for an assault in progress. The spoke with the 41-year-old victim who stated a man had entered her apartment through a bathroom window minutes before they arrived. 

The victim identified the suspect as Jeffrey O'Neil, 48, also of Manchester. She claimed O'Neil assaulted her, threatened her and kept her against her will. 

O'Neil allegedly threatened to cause bodily injuries while brandishing a knife, which was recovered on scene. 

O'Neil fled prior to police arrival, but was located a day later and taken into custody on an arrest warrant. 

He's charged with kidnapping, burglary and being a felon in possession of a deadly weapon.
