Police in New Hampshire are cracking down on a group of people who they say are practicing parkour on city buildings.
The Concord Monitor reports a Franklin resident called police Thursday night about a group of people climbing down his fire escape. Franklin Police Chief David Goldstein says people have been using Franklin businesses in other cases.
Parkour involves climbing and jumping to difficult perches along with acrobatic moves. Experts say it originated from military obstacle course training.
Goldstein says the activity is dangerous and could lead to serious injuries.
A 26-year-old man in Denver fell 40 feet down the chimney of an apartment building while making a parkour video last year.
Franklin police plan to monitor city rooftops.
