2 Wounded, 2 Arrested in Manchester, NH Shooting

Two people were shot multiple times and taken to a local hospital in Manchester, N.H.

Two people suffered multiple gunshots and were hospitalized after a shooting in Manchester, New Hampshire early Saturday morning.

Police first responded to reports of a shooting in the area of 134 Armory Street where they found a male victim with several gunshot wounds. They also found a suspect fleeing the scene. After stopping that car, police located a second gunshot victim inside – a female victim who was also transported to a local hospital.

The two men believed to be involved in the shooting are in custody. The men were identified as Michael Sirois, 22, of Chester, and Jason Gerry, 21, of Sandown.

Sirois has been charged with first degree assault with a deadly weapon and second degree assault with a deadly weapon, Gerry has been charged with second degree assault.

Both men are expected to be arraigned Monday at 9th Circuit Manchester District Court.

Manchester Police do not believe the shooting poses any threats to the public.
