Police in Manchester, New Hampshire, say a woman has been arrested in connection with an attempted robbery last week in which a 65-year-old woman armed with a handgun shot a man who allegedly attempted to rob her.
Julie Lambert, 21, was wanted on charges of conspiracy to commit robbery. She appeared in court Monday morning.
The incident happened Jan. 4 on South Porter Street. Police say 23-year-old Michael Bontaites, attempted to rob the woman, who shot him with the handgun in her bad, for which she has a permit.
The latest news from around the state
Bontaites was charged with robbery while in the hospital.
Police said another person, Zack Boyd, was also arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.
A fourth person, Amanda Gurley, is also wanted for conspiracy to commit robbery.
