Construction Crews to Begin Work on Phase of I-93 Expansion

There will be at least two lanes of traffic during the day between Londonderry and Manchester, New Hampshire

Crews are set to begin construction on another phase of the expansion of Interstate 93 in New Hampshire.

Conrad Skov, a contract administrator with the state Department of Transportation tells New Hampshire Public Radio work crews will start construction Monday from Exit 5 in Londonderry to the split between I-93 and Interstate 293 in Manchester.

Skov says workers are going to start clearing trees along the northbound barrel, and a little along the southbound.

He says there will be at least two lanes of traffic during the day. It may be tight as work continues.

The department will have signs alerting drivers to the construction activity.
