Police in New Hampshire are investigating after a woman who was found with extensive injuries in the middle of a road later died.
Authorities in Manchester said they received a call before 10:30 p.m. Monday of a woman unresponsive in the roadway near Canal and Spring Streets. Police said the victim's injuries were "extensive" and she was taken to a nearby hospital, where she later died.
The cause of the woman's death was unclear and police did not reveal her identity.
