Donald Trump Returns to New Hampshire on Friday

He'll attend a 6:30 p.m. rally in Hampton

GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump is scheduled to return to New Hampshire on Friday.

He will attend a rally at 6:30 p.m. at Winnacunnet High School in Hampton, according to an invite. He's scheduled to travel to Iowa on Saturday.

Trump has generated a firestorm of controversy - even more so than usual - in the wake of his comments about Fox News debate moderator Megyn Kelly last week. He lashed out against her in an interview with CNN on Friday, saying of her questions, "There was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever."

Soon after that interview aired, Trump was booted from the lineup of Saturday's RedState Gathering of conservative activists in Atlanta, Georgia.

Trump worked the political talk show circuit on Sunday, refusing to apologize for his remarks about Kelly.

He told Chuck Todd, host of NBC's "Meet the Press," that he "doesn't mind apologizing" when he is wrong - but he insists that he's not wrong in this case.

"There's nothing to apologize (for)," he said. "I thought she asked a very, very unfair question. So did everyone on social media and I answered the question very well."

Still, Trump continues to lead the GOP field, according to an NBC News Online Poll conducted after the debate.
