Felon Escapes From the New Hampshire State Prison System

A 37-year-old male felon has escaped from the New Hampshire State Prison System - Calumet Halfway House for Men in Manchester on Friday evening.

Inmate Andrew Shea escaped from official custody at 6:45 p.m. when correction officers attempted to take him into custody for being out of place.

Shea escaped on foot headed east on Lowell Street in the city of Manchester.  Shea is 6'0", 265 lbs with brown hair and blue eyes.  He has a tribal tattoo on his neck and he was reportedly wearing khaki shorts and a black short sleeve shirt when he escaped.

He's currently serving time for two felony level armed robberies and a felon in possession of a firearm.  His earliest release date would have been January 2017.
