Man Beaten, Shot at in Armed Home Invasion in Manchester, N

Officers responded to the home on Flaherty Lane around 3 p.m. and spoke with the victim, 34.

Police in Manchester, New Hampshire, say a man was beaten and shot at by two armed invaders Thursday afternoon. 

Officers responded to the home on Flaherty Lane around 3 p.m. and spoke with the victim, 34. 

He told police the male suspects, both wearing black bandanas over their faces and brandishing handguns, forced their way into his home. 

He attempted to fight off the assailants with a bat as several shots were fired. 

The victim dropped the bat and fled the home, but one of the suspects caught up with him and beat him with the bat. 

He was transported to Catholic Medical Center and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries to his face and hand. 

The first suspect is approximately 5'6'-5'8', 160 lbs., and has blonde hair, light colored eyes and unknown clothing. Suspect two is approximately 5'11'-6', 220 lbs., and has with short "jet black" hair. He was wearing sunglasses, a white shirt and black pants at the time of the incident. 

Police do not believe the attack was random.
