Man Found Dead, Roommate Still Missing

A New Hampshire man who has been missing since last month has killed himself, police said Wednesday. His roommate remains missing.

Stephen Andrade, 36, shared a Manchester apartment with 57-year-old Sue Hutchinson, who was last seen Sunday, Sept. 20. Andrade, who police believed to have been the last person to see Hutchinson, went missing himself on Sept. 21.

Police say Andrade was found dead Tuesday at a Motel 6 in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. He had suffered from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Shortly before 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 21, police say Andrade was at the Game Stop in Bedford. He was thought to have been driving a 2005 silver BMW 5 Series, registered to Hutchinson, which police initially announced Hutchinson may have been driving.

That car, with New Hampshire plates reading "380 6038,” was found Monday outside the Gold’s Gym in Merrimack, New Hampshire.

Another car registered to Hutchinson, a 1992 Buick Century, with New Hampshire plates reading "288 6934," was found Sept. 23 a few blocks from her apartment, at the intersection of Wyoming Avenue and South Elm Street.

Hutchinson is described as an Asian woman who is about 5'2 and about 200 pounds. She has brown eyes, black hair, a scar on one of her knees and a scar on her chest. She has a dragon tattoo on her neck and a guitar tattoo on one of her wrists.

Anyone with information about this case, who may have seen Hutchinson, or who may have seen one of the cars involved is asked to call (603) 668-8711.
