Merrimack, New Hampshire Mother Fakes Son's Injuries Online to Obtain Full Custody

The woman set up a Go Fund Me page

A mother in Merrimack, New Hampshire, started a "Go Fund Me" page with pictures of her son's supposed injuries, informing donors the money would be used to hire an attorney and attempt to get full custody of the boy.

Taylor Tibbetts, age 20, of Merrimack, New Hampshire, informed the Merrimack Police Department on November 11, 2015, her 3-year-old son had been abused by his father.

According to the department, after filing the report, Tibbetts started a "Go Fund Me" page to raise money for the attorney.

During the course of the investigation Derry, New Hampshire police found the photos of her son were photo shopped.

Merrimack police arrested Tibbett for one count of False Report to a Law Enforcement Officer.

She was released on $2,000 Personal Recognizance bail and will be arraigned in the 9th Circuit District Court of Merrimack on May 24 at 8 a.m.
