Moose Takes Dip in New Hampshire Pool, Needs Help Getting Out

The moose was unable to get out of the Bedford pool due to the lack of stairs, according to New Hampshire Fish and Game

A young moose recently took a dip in a New Hampshire swimming pool but needed some help getting out.

The moose accidentally found his way into the pool in Bedford Tuesday evening, according to New Hampshire Fish and Game.

When the moose was unable to get out of the water by himself, game wardens and conservation officers stepped in and placed a set of wooden steps inside the pool.

After several hours of being stuck in the pool, officials said the animal was able to get out of the water. He then found his way back to the woods.

Fish and Game authorities said because moose breeding season is ramping up, more bulls are on the move looking for mates.
