A 29-year-old New Hampshire man accused of abusing an infant over the course of four months has been arrested.
Police in Rochester said Tuesday Matthew Bowdon faces a charge of first-degree assault after his 9-month-old baby was hospitalized with serious injuries last month.
The infant was taken to a hospital Sept. 19 and an investigation determined the child’s injuries were allegedly the result of ongoing abuse from Bowdon.
Bowdon was arrested Monday and released on personal recognizance bail. He is not allowed to have any contact with the child and scheduled to be arraigned Oct. 10 in Straffod Superior Court.
