New Hampshire Man Pleads Guilty to Bank Robbery

A New Hampshire man has pleaded guilty to one count of bank robbery.

Seamus Murphy, 33, of Milford walked into a Citizens Bank in Stratham on Feb. 24 and gave a teller a note demanding money. The teller gave Murphy an undisclosed amount of cash.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the robbery, which were broadcast on news outlets.

Numerous individuals identified Murphy and he was apprehended the next day, Feb. 25.

Murphy faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison and criminal fines of up to $250,000. He will be detained pending sentencing, which is scheduled for Jan. 29, 2016.
