Shortly before 10:30 p.m., police officers responded to a home on Hunt Street following a complaint. Upon arrival, officers found a suspect barricaded in his home. The suspect was shot, Attorney General Gordon MacDonald said in a statement.
Officials said the man is being treated for the injuries he sustained in the shooting.
