NH Man Accused of Sexual Misconduct With ‘Very Young Juveniles'

A Concord, New Hampshire man has been arrested for alleged sexual misconduct involving “very young juveniles,” authorities said Friday.

Concord police said Brandon Aubin, 36, was arrested Thursday after a months-long investigation for allegedly exchanging nude images with young people and asking them to take part in sexual acts. He appeared in court without a lawyer Friday.

"I think I've been punished enough," Aubin told the judge. "I think I don't need to be detained, I am not a danger to anybody outside of here and my home."

Concord police disagreed.

"Once we identified the victims, we began to immediately corroborate the tip itself," Det. Lt. Sean Ford said. "Anyone who engages in that behavior, there's something going on there that needs to be addressed, and I kind of don't trust that (person) on their own."

Authorities received a tip about the alleged behavior in July.

Authorities said the victims, who were known to Aubin, were not in danger during the investigation.

Aubin was set to be arraigned at the Merrimack County Superior Court Friday around 1 p.m.
