Police Investigating Man's Shooting Death

A man was found shot to death inside of a Manchester apartment early Tuesday morning, New Hampshire authorities announced.

The N.H. attorney general and Manchester police say the man, later identified as 44-year-old Raymond Drake of Manchester, was found when police officers went to an apartment at 170 Amherst St. just after 4 a.m. for a report of a shooting.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner determined Wednesday that Drake died as result of two gunshot wounds. His manner of death was a homicide.

Police have a suspect in custody. Drew Morris, 32, of 170 Amherst St., has been charged with second degree murder. He will appear in court on Sept. 1.

Police and the state attorney general say the investigation is ongoing.
