A New York man accused of driving erratically for nearly 50 miles on and around Interstate 89 in New Hampshire is facing numerous charges.
New Hampshire State Police say a concerned motorist called police Monday night from Warner and then followed the Nissan Armada onto the highway, providing updates to dispatchers. State police intercepted the car around exit 11, but the driver refused to stop.
It was at that point police noticed the vehicle did not have its tail-lights activated and was driving across the dotted white line and into the breakdown lane.
Police say the pursuit continued into Enfield with the car reaching speeds over 95 mph before the vehicle crashed into a ditch in Lebanon.
Fifty-three-year-old Kenneth Moulin of Williamsville, New York, was arrested on charges of aggravated driving under the influence, disobeying an officer, reckless driving and an open container violation. He was bailed on personal recognizance and later taken to the Merrimack County Jail in protective custody.
Moulin is scheduled to appear in the 5th Circuit Newport District Court on Aug. 13. It's unclear if he has an attorney.
