Authorities in Sunderland, Massachusetts, are cleaning up after the New England Health Center nursing home was evacuated due to a water main break.

Around 2:20 p.m. on Saturday, crews were called to 61 Old Amherst Road for the report of a water main break. When the Sunderland Police Department arrived on scene, water was flooding the building from an overhead sprinkler pipe that had burst.

According to NECN affiliate WWLP, residents were transported to First Congregational Church of Sunderland temporarily, which is one block away from the nursing home. They say New England Health Center has a sister nursing home in the area where the nursing home residents are now staying while cleanup is underway.
