A pedestrian was fatally struck by a train in Claremont, New Hampshire on Friday afternoon.
Claremont Police recieved report of a man who was hit after he appeared to deliberately walk in front of a south bound Amtrak train near the railroad tracks between Claremont Junction and Grissom Lane.
The incident is currently under investigation.
The identity of the victim is not being released at this time.
