Washington did not enter a plea at his arraignment.

According to court documents, Washington told police he got into a fight with Malone after she allegedly took his cocaine.

When officers arrived to the residence, Washington was sitting in the apartment near Malone. Police said they were both covered in blood.

When paramedics arrived, Malone was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
