Three people, two adults and one juvenile, were arrested after being caught with stolen items from multiple vehicle break-ins around Manchester, New Hampshire, police said.
Twenty-two-year-old James Marcoux, 18-year-old Clifford Williamson and a 16-year-old juvenile face charges after allegedly admitting to taking things from vehicles to a Manchester police officer early Friday morning.
Manchester Police say an officer was near Hillhaven Road and Smyth Street when he saw three individuals walk toward his police cruiser and stopped them to talk to them. Marcoux, Williamson and the juvenile allegedly said they were going to a friend's house on Smyth Road. A subsequent wanted check showed Marcoux was wanted on a failure to appear warrant out of Hillsborough County Superior Court, according to police.
Police say the interview with Marcoux, Williamson and the juvenile revealed they had stolen items from multiple car break-ins in the area, including two GPS devices, sunglasses, a folding knife and a set of car keys, and that they admitted to taking the items.
Marcoux and Williamson were charged with theft and receiving stolen property, the juvenile was released to his guardian and will be dealt with in the juvenile court system, police said.
