Police: Speeding Stop Leads to Other Charges Against N.H. Man

Police say a speeding stop led to a host of other charges against a New Hampshire man on Saturday.

New Hampshire State Police say 28-year-old Christopher Chasse of Manchester was clocked driving 88 mph on I-93 north in Bow at 6:40 Saturday morning.

During the stop, Ardini says he determined that Chasse's license and registration were both suspended.

Once in custody, police say Chasse had a substance believed to be heroin in his front pocket. Police say additional drugs and numerous hypodermic needles were found in his car.

Chasse is charged with operating after revocation or suspension, operating with a suspended registration, drug possession and speeding.

He is due in Concord District Court May 3. It was not immediately known if he has a lawyer.
