Police in Pelham, New Hampshire, say a teen crashed his car into a telephone pole while adjusting his radio Saturday night.
According to police, the road was closed for 11 hours after 17-year-old Corey Galloway of Dracut, Massachusetts, struck the pole between Wellesley Drive and Vassar Drive on Route 38.
The teen said he looked down at the radio and noticed that his 1998 Oldsmobile Bravada had veered off the road.
The pole broke in half.
Police say Galloway was "emotionally shaken up," but was not injured. He was transported to Lowell General Hospital and released after evaluation.
Route 38 reopened around 10:10 a.m. Sunday.
