2 Injured in Tractor-Trailer Rollover Crash

A tractor trailer swerved to avoid the car and struck a vehicle, which caused the truck to roll over and block two lanes

Police say two people were injured after a car traveling the wrong way crashed into a tractor-trailer in Rhode Island.

State police say the car was moving southbound on the Route 146 ramp in Lincoln, made a wrong turn onto Route 295 and ended up traveling southbound in a northbound lane.

A tractor-trailer swerved to avoid the car and struck a vehicle, which caused the truck to roll over and block two lanes.

Police say the driver of the tractor trailer was not hurt, but the driver and passenger of the car were taken to Rhode Island Hospital with unspecified injuries.
