Police in Rhode Island say a 28-year-old man has been seriously injured in a shooting.
The shooting happened Sunday evening in Providence. Police say the victim was shot while riding a bike.
The victim was rushed to an area hospital with serious injuries. Maj. David Lapatin says the man is undergoing surgery.
No arrests have been reported. An investigation continues.
The incident follows a separate shooting that left one 19-year-old man dead and a 26-year-old man injured, according to WJAR-TV. Both shootings happened in the span of just three days.
