Dozens Indicted in Connection with Motorcycle Gang Probe

A grand jury has indicted 41 of the 61 people arrested in the spring following a state police investigation into alleged drug and gun dealing by a motorcycle gang.

The state attorney general's office announced Thursday that 16 others waived their right to have their cases presented to the grand jury and pleaded guilty. Four had their cases referred to Drug Court or to the attorney general's Adult Diversion Unit, an alternative to prosecution for first-time nonviolent offenders.

Those facing charges were rounded up in May as more than 150 state and federal law enforcement personnel executed raids of homes, businesses and Pagans motorcycle club headquarters in multiple communities.

Police said at the time the sized 53 guns and large amounts of heroin, marijuana and cocaine.
