Firefighters have been called to the scene of a house fire in Providence, Rhode Island.
The fire began around 8 a.m. Monday.
The firefighters union says one person jumped from a window of the Belmont Avenue home and firefighters were called out of the building at one point.
WJAR-TV reports that the fire was initially reported in the basement, but quickly spread up the walls and through the roof.
The fire department says crews are still at the scene and details about the incident will be released later.
