The Coast Guard says a lobster boat and a yacht have collided off the coast of Rhode Island, but there are no reported injuries.
The captain of the 40-foot lobster boat, Squeeze Play, contacted the Coast Guard on Tuesday morning to report the collision with the yacht, Lucia, about 10 miles east of Block Island.
The yacht reportedly had a hole in its bow and was sinking, so the four people on the Lucia were transferred onto the lobster boat, which had a crew of two.
The four people who were on the yacht later transferred onto a Coast Guard vessel when it arrived at the scene to be brought back to port. The Squeeze Play is also returning to port.
