A Pawtucket, Rhode Island, man has been arrested and charged with an arson he committed on March 30 in Providence.
Authorities responded to a building fire at 152 Early St.
It was determined that Stephan McClain, 47, placed an accelerant on the porch of the building, which is the primary entrance and exit to the two-story structure.
The occupant of the first floor, a 59-year-old man, was trapped inside before being rescued by firefighters.
The son of the first floor occupant informed investigators that he had a physical altercation with McClain on or around March 24.
